Sony has yet to announce the Pro version of the PlayStation 5 but if this recent leak is to be believed, the updated design looks especially sleek. PlayStation has a reputation for releasing upgraded consoles roughly four years into a console generation to cater to those looking for hardware that's more recent while also providing newcomers with a cheaper entry-point alternative. The PS5 Pro is largely considered an open secret at this point given that many industry experts are sure Sony won't deviate from its usual plan, but until there's an official announcement, fans will have to rely on leaks.
Per leaker billbil_kun over on Dealabs, the design of the PlayStation 5 Pro will seemingly look similar to the original version but is noticeably wider, and features black "stripe" accents down the sides. The shared image isn't official (it's a visual created by the leaker to avoid copyright takedowns) but it does provide a decent draft of what consumers can expect from the device. The PS5 Pro will allegedly also include 2 USB-C ports and the now-iconic white face plates that have become synonymous with Sony's console.
