Black Myth: Wukong isn't currently available on Xbox consoles owing to an undisclosed PS5 exclusivity deal, a new report has revealed. Having released for PS5 and PC players on August 20, Black Myth: Wukong skipped the Xbox Series X/S despite developer Game Science previously announcing Microsoft's console as one of its target platforms.
Since rolling out earlier this month, Black Myth: Wukong has experienced incredible levels of success and has gone on to break records. It sold 10 million copies within three days of launch, raking in strong revenue for Game Science. On Steam alone, it reached more than 2.4 million concurrent players and, in the process, became the second most-played title and the most-played single-player title on the storefront. Amid all this, Xbox players have been left out of the conversation, with the Wukong developer reportedly citing a "memory leak" issue as the reason for the delay of the game's Xbox port.
