Black Myth: Wukong is officially out as of August 20, but one console seems to have gotten overlooked in the launch. The action RPG developed by Game Science is out on PC and PlayStation 5 right now. However, the game hasn't been released on Xbox yet, with no announcement about when fans might expect it to come to the console.
Forbes writer Paul Tassi shared an explanation on X (formerly Twitter), offering new insight into what happened. Tassi states that, according to an inside source, "Black Myth: Wukong is not currently on Xbox because of an exclusivity deal, and is not delayed because of any sort of technical issue."
At this time, it's unclear which information is correct, as this insider insight seems to go against an official Game Science statement. Tassi is, however, a reliable source on such matters in the gaming industry.
A balance tweak in Black Myth: Wukong could lessen the frustration with one fight that's more annoying than it is difficult, improving the game.
