A list of Astro Bot trophies and descriptions has been revealed, and they uncover some details about how PlayStation cameos will be utilized. The upcoming game will include over 150 PlayStation characters, and this time, it seems that the titular robot Astro will be able to interact with them in a variety of ways.
The full trophy list, posted on Exophase, consists of 44 total trophies. Several of the trophies reference PlayStation characters using puns and descriptions with clever turns of phrase. It looks like Astro Bot will have players dancing, fighting, taking photos, and interacting in other ways with robotic versions of some well-known PlayStation characters, locations, and items.
Astro is finally getting a full-length game with his upcoming platforming adventure, Astro Bot, coming exclusively to the PlayStation 5.
Team Asobi is no stranger to using cameos, as its previous game Astro's Playroom was chock-full of Easter eggs using little bot versions of popular PlayStation characters. These characters mostly just stand around, waiting to be found by the player. The new trophy list suggests that this time, the PlayStation bots will play a more active role in Astro Bot.
