Daybreak Games has announced that its take on battle royale, H1Z1, will be coming to PlayStation 4 later in 2018. But players won't have to wait too long to try it out as the first open beta event will be taking place on May 22nd.
For PS4 fanatics, worry not: Daybreak has tuned the game specifically for your favorite platform. Most notably, "key gameplay differentiators to keep the game frantic and fun" are included for the console version. Loot collection will be simplified for controller pick up and the inventory and UI menus have been retooled for more intuitive use with a controller. But perhaps the biggest change is that there will be no crafting at all in the PS4 version. Other than that, all PC content will be included and some new content as well in the form of new weapons and gear.
