On August 28, during a match against the Baltimore Orioles, Shohei Ohtani went viral for sharing an endearing first pitch with his internet-famous dog Decoy. The Dodgers Stadium was sold out with 53,290 attendees who arrived not only to cheer for Ohtani but to also seize his second official bobblehead, which features Decoy too. The first 40,000 fans were given the bobblehead, and about 2,000 of them were gold bobbleheads. Evidently, the exclusiveness of the gold bobbleheads increased their value to insane numbers.
