Those who have been gaming for a while will likely remember the evenings spent parked in front of a computer after waiting all day to log into Wizard101, the early MMORPG that let players step into a world of magic. The popular live-service game has withstood the test of time thanks to its unique world of Spire and turn-based collectible card combat system. But it's almost time for those who haven't opened the game in a while to revisit it.

In a post from the official Wizard101 account on X (formerly Twitter), the long-running MMORPG announced that after 16 years of service, Wizard101 would finally be coming to consoles. The post only confirmed the game would be coming to "Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles," though it did not confirm when console players could expect to get their hands on it.
