Xbox Game Pass is once again increasing its catalog with an open-world game for players who may be sick of the usual action-adventure formula. The SnowRunner franchise may not have broken out into the mainstream market at the time of writing, but the off-roading simulator has established a cult following that enjoys both its tactical navigation and relaxing mission design. SnowRunner is currently available on Xbox Game Pass where it's been a mainstay of the service but fans eager to try the sequel should brace for its arrival.
Per TrueAchievements, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is slated to make its Xbox Game Pass debut on September 5. While the snow may not have made it into the sequel, that doesn't mean the terrain will be any easier to navigate as users must figure out how to take their massive vehicles across dangerous terrain to complete quests and fulfill contracts. The game, which was developed by Saber Interactive, launched in March 2024, making it one of the more recent titles to drive its way onto Xbox Game Pass.
