Deadlock Players Are Calling For Seven To Be Nerfed

Deadlock is now officially out following its brief status as one of the gaming industry's worst kept secrets. Its popularity has been growing more and more each day, with the game having hit a whopping peak player count of 171,490 at the time of writing, and more and more people are starting to get a feel for which characters are worth playing, and which ones are rubbish.

Left 4 Dead 2 is one of the most popular games on Steam, but Valve has left it to fester.

Seven appears to be establishing dominance at the moment though, as a quick trip to Tracklock reveals that the character's win and pick rates are astonishingly high for the kind of game Deadlock is. At the moment, Seven currently has a win rate of 56.83 percent and a pick rate of 91.90 percent, which is higher than every other character on the roster.

That means Seven is both a very popular character and very easy to do well with, and that combination spells trouble for pretty much any online game out there. Unsurprisingly, these stats have players on the Deadlock subreddit calling for the character to be heavily nerfed.
