When it comes to the world of Pokémon, Lapras is one of the most beloved Water-types in the entire franchise, so this new figurine is great news for fans. It's a widely held belief that every Pokémon is someone's favorite and while Lapras may not be able to compete with the likes of Lucario, Gengar, Charizard, and Mimikyu, the Gen 1 pocket monster is still beloved by a decent group of fans. Over on The Pokémon Center, fans of the plesiosaur-like creature can now pick up a new Lapras Pop! figure that sports a shiny Pearlescent color scheme. An item exclusively available in the Pokémon Center, this Pop! is unique in that it gives off a delicate shimmer when exposed to the right lighting, making Lapras glisten as though it just emerged from a body of water. While not explicitly linked to Lapras' Terastalized form, the pearlescent effect does evoke the glimmering version of the Pokémon albeit with less jagged edges.
