Black Myth: Wukong has reached a new milestone on Steam, reaching the top of the Steam Deck games chart for August. Game Science’s action RPG has dominated gamers’ most-anticipated games list since its 2020 reveal, and Black Myth: Wukong has also earned an honorary place in the Soulslike community for its punishing boss battles.
Inspired by the Chinese novel Journey to the West and the country’s mythology, the game follows the anthropomorphic monkey, Sun Wukong, as he travels the vast world to recover lost relics. Black Myth: Wukong is rumored to have a secret PS5 exclusivity deal after missing out on an Xbox release at launch, but PC players have certainly made their love for the game heard.
