Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment has announced that it will delay Ranked Rumble, one of the game's returning multiplayer modes. The mode was originally set to return during Apex Legends Season 22.

Competitive live-service titles like Apex Legends face constant pressure to maintain the balance or atmosphere players enjoy about the game while still growing and adding novel content and modes. Maintaining proper game balance adds further challenge to the task at hand, as skeptical players may even begin to question the wisdom of decisions before they even debut. One such example was when some players decried the Apex Legends Season 22 Battle Sense feature before the season had even launched.
