When Silent Hill 2 Remake launches later this year on PlayStation 5, it'll boast a number of quality-of-life and critical updates. Among those updates are crispy graphics, as well as a new runtime that is double the length of the original.
That said, while the modernized graphics are truly a sight to behold, there is nothing quite like the charm of the original. The 2001 era survival horror video game still retains a level of uniqueness.
As it turns out, however, you'll be able to turn your nostalgia into reality when the game officially releases. That's because, according to Bloober Team, the studio behind the remake, the game will have a "90s filter" that will help turn back the clock on this 2024 release.

Taking to Twitter, Bloober Team unveiled the feature as part of a larger post discussing the game's immersive options. Per the team, the "90s filter" will have "grain effect, color correction and screen adjustments to complete the old-school experience."
