The Platinum trophy for the now-defunct Concord may very well become one of the rarest Platinums of all time. Concord was released in late August, and unfortunately for anyone that enjoyed the hero-shooter game, it's already dead. Sony pulled the plug on Concord just two weeks after its release thanks to a complete lack of interest from the community at large.
Concord sales were reportedly only around 25,000 units, which is abysmal for a first-party game, to say the least. It didn't even manage to draw 700 concurrent players on Steam, and it seems its PS5 population wasn't much bigger. The decision was made to take Concord offline, triggering a mad-dash for trophy hunters wanting to unlock the game's Platinum trophy before it was lost to the void.
A small subset of Concord owners has reportedly encountered some difficulties in trying to get the refund that PlayStation promised.
