Nick Kolcheff, better known by his online moniker Nickmercs, has shared some harsh words about Herschel "Dr Disrespect" Beahm IV after his former collaborator resumed his YouTube streaming schedule in early September. The move saw Nickmercs suggest that his decision to cut ties with the streamer prior to his YouTube return was irrevocable.
In late June 2024, Dr Disrespect admitted to exchanging some "inappropriate" messages with a minor via the now-defunct Twitch Whispers service. The 42-year-old content creator labeled that 2017 incident as the reason why he was permanently banned from Twitch in 2020, all the while insisting he did nothing illegal. He then announced he was taking a break from streaming in order to take an extended family vacation, from which he had returned in early September 2024.
