A Concord fan used their refund to purchase a limited-edition PS5 DualSense controller themed after the 5v5 hero shooter from PlayStation and Firewalk Studios. Concord servers went offline on September 6, and refunds are still being issued to those who purchased either a digital or physical copy of the game.
The August 23 launch of Concord did not go as planned for Firewalk Studios, with an immediately low player count suggesting that the game would be facing an uphill battle. Just a week and a half after launch, Concord developers announced that the game would shut down, with digital sales of the game ceasing immediately. The announcement gave Concord players only three days to enjoy the game and earn a Platinum trophy before the servers went offline. In that same window, scalped copies of Concord, along with the game's limited-edition DualSense controller, were being listed and sold at extremely high prices.
Even though Concord was delisted and pulled offline recently, Steam data shows that a few users are still playing the hero shooter.
