Developers Frame Break and Amplifier Studios have announced that Lightyear Frontier will receive a significant content update titled "Neighbors and Animals" by the end of September 2024. This new Lightyear Frontier update will introduce new wildlife, characters, decorations, and more, expanding the game’s world.
Lightyear Frontier combines the mechanics of a traditional farming simulation with a sci-fi twist, offering players a peaceful, combat-free environment where they can focus on resource management and exploration. Players pilot customizable mechs to plant crops, gather resources, and upgrade their farms, while also working together in co-op mode to build and explore with friends. The game was released in 2023 and has since received updates to expand its content and fix issues.
