It looks like the wildly successful "Pokemon with guns" game Palworld is finally coming to the PlayStation 5. Palworld launched in early access at the beginning of the year and was an immediate success. The survival game smashed Steam records and is quite easily one of 2024's best-selling new releases. What makes this even more impressive is that Palworld has so far only been available on PC and Xbox.
There have long been rumors that Palworld is coming to PS5, with both PlayStation and Pocketpair responding to the demand. No concrete plans for Palworld on PS5 have been announced at the time of this writing, but it looks like an announcement could be happening sooner rather than later.
Palworld continues to grow to this day, and perhaps it should take a particular feature of past Pokemon games to help it continue its evolution.
As spotted by Gematsu, a list of Tokyo Game Show 2024 games has been released by the CESA, and they include a PS5 version of Palworld. Gematsu noted that the list is not necessarily definitive, and so fans shouldn't hold their breath, but it does seem quite possible that a Palworld PS5 announcement...
