September 17 is Going to Be a Big Day for PS Plus Premium Subscribers

Sony has officially revealed all the new games coming to the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus on September 17. PlayStation Plus gives away new free games to those subscribed to the Essential tier at the beginning of every month, while the Extra and Premium libraries get a refresh in the middle of each month.

As such, the free PS Plus games for September 2024 are available to claim right now, with subscribers able to snag Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24, and Little Nightmares 2 for their digital libraries. Of course, with PS Plus Extra and Premium being higher tiers than Essential, the free games are available to those subscribers as well.

Unfortunately, PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers will be losing access to one of the service's best games on September 17.

PS Plus Premium subscribers are treated to everything added to the Essential and Extra tiers on top of the new titles added to Premium, which makes Tuesday, September 17 an especially exciting day for those individuals. On that day, nine games will be added to the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus, while an additional four will be added to PS Plus Premium.
