World of Warcraft just gave Earthen a new racial ability called Quiet Contemplation, which allows them to restore their health and mana outside of combat. With this skill, the newest allied race in World of Warcraft can gain all the benefits of eating and drinking, despite being unable to do so through conventional means.
Earthen are the new allied race added in The War Within. The stone-like cousins of the Dwarves can be unlocked in World of Warcraft for both the Alliance and the Horde by completing the campaign for The War Within, alongside a handful of sidequests. They have a selection of powerful racial abilities, including Ingest Minerals, which grants them the benefits of being Well Fed, but prevents them from eating or drinking to recover health or mana outside of combat.
Fans of the Priest class in World of Warcraft might want to consider rolling a Dracthyr once the option is added in The War Within Patch 11.0.5.
