Now, in a further blow to potential buyers, it's been reported that arguably the most anticipated upcoming game, Grand Theft Auto 6, might be too much for the console to handle, and it won't run at 4K 60fps.
On Tuesday, the PS5 Pro was revealed and boasted "three pillars" — a larger GPU, advanced ray tracing, and PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution), AI upscaling, which will help to boost frame rates. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like it will help with Rockstar's next grand adventure.
Speaking to Digital Foundry, IGN asked the experts if Grand Theft Auto 6 would realistically be able to run at 60fps on Sony's mid-generation refresh.
