PlayStation Plus subscribers are in luck because a highly-anticipated action-adventure game is slated to hit the service as a Day-One release in September. While the term "Day-One" may not be as prolific on PlayStation's subscription service when compared to the likes of Xbox Game Pass, Sony is certainly trying to make the feature more prominent. In early September, PS Plus subscribers were treated to Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions as a Day-One launch, and if the latest announcement is setting a trend, even more titles could go the same route.
Per the official PlayStation Blog, PS Plus Extra and Premium members will gain access to The Plucky Squire, an inventive action-adventure game developed by All Possible Futures and published by Devolver, on September 17. The charming indie platformer sees players take on the role of Jot, the eponymous Squire, as he takes on a quest to slay the evil wizard Humgrump who intends to ruin the end of his storybook. Unfortunately, the journey goes awry as Jot and his friends are exposed to a world that they could have never imagined: A child's bedroom, realized in three dimensions.
