Game Rant can exclusively reveal that the first major Go-Go Town update is scheduled to roll out on September 15. Called Build and Bustle, this release will expand the Steam version of Go-Go Town with new areas, customization options, and gameplay mechanics, as well as other novelties.

Go-Go Town is a city building and management game with Stardew Valley vibes and split-screen co-op that was released as a Steam Early Access title in June 2024. Its preview version generated positive buzz among some fans of the genre, with Go-Go Town amassing nearly 1,100 "Very Positive" Steam reviews in under three months. Hundreds of people have praised its gameplay variety and wacky tone, relishing the ability to high-five chickens, befriend aliens with bagels, and go on a road rampage, among other silliness.

Not only are these games open-world, but they also come with fun gameplay features that let players manage a small (or larger) community.
