Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead Studios is currently in the middle of a massive attempt to try and get players back on board following a lackluster and disappointing couple of months. Players have been leaving in droves and criticizing Arrowhead for the direction that the game has taken recently, after a series of unpopular nerfs made the game less fun to play.
We need to stop using the term for games that simply don't deserve it.
Ever since the release of the Escalation of Freedom update, Arrowhead has been trying to address the issues fans have, and a series of buff announcements have gone a long way in making people happier. However, Arrowhead has also been very keen to point out that Helldiver 2 isn't going to become buff central any time soon, as community manager Thomas 'Twinbeard' Petersson has begun trying to set expectations.
First spotted by GamesRadar, a message from Petersson on the Helldivers 2 Discord channel - responding to a fan worried about stealth nerfs following the game's many upcoming buffs - has explained that more nerfs will come to Helldivers 2, as it's inevitable that other things "will need looking over" following so many changes.
