The yet-to-be-announced Resident Evil Code: Veronica remake will apparently not be as ambitious as the Resident Evil 4 remake. Capcom has not announced its future plans for Resident Evil remakes, but reputable sources have claimed that the next two remakes on deck are Code: Veronica and RE0.

While there were some reports that a Resident Evil 5 remake was in the works, the latest is that Capcom is working on remakes of Code: Veronica and Resident Evil Zero instead. Many were disappointed when Capcom announced the Resident Evil 4 remake, as it seemed like the company was going to completely skip Code: Veronica, so it's definitely a relief to learn that the game is going to get the remake treatment.

Capcom answers a shareholder question that gives fans some hope that a Resident Evil Code: Veronica remake is a possibility.
