Ironwood Studios and Kepler Interactive have released a new Pacific Drive update, and the two studios are calling this one the "most significant update" since the game was released.
Pacific Drive's last update was released in July alongside an announcement that the game had sold 600,000 copies, and while it brought a Photo Mode and more with it, this one is arguably more substantial.
This update's main focus is the addition of six distinct gameplay presets that sort of serve as difficulty modifiers; each one changes gameplay and difficulty in significant ways, allowing you to fine-tune your experience and play Pacific Drive exactly how you like.

As you can see, the new presets are a mixture of harder and easier modifiers, so you should be able to find one that matches how you want to play Pacific Drive. Of course, if you want, you can just play the game as it was originally designed without any of these modifiers.
