Stardew Valley is filled with creepy discoveries if players know where to look but when one sneaks up on an unsuspecting Farmer, it's easy to mistake it for a technical bug. For a game about the joys of pastoral living, there are plenty of sinister secrets around Pelican Town that have plagued players ever since Stardew Valley launched in 2016. While the mystery of the eerie rain cry may never be solved, one fan was fortunate enough to discover that an odd glitch was the result of a bizarre item.

Posted to Reddit by user Evening-Refuse-8562, the player shared their confusion at the fact that their Farm's shed suddenly turned black, questioning whether the color change was the result of a glitch.

The Stardew Valley community was quick to offer some insight, confirming that the shed was changed not by a bug but by the presence of the Cursed Mannequin, a strange piece of furniture that can change a structure's wallpaper and flooring. While not mechanically impactful, the switch is creepy for those who may not know of the Mannequin's power, even though the color change is only one of its abilities.
