After an embarrassing failure with Battlefield 2042, EAseems to be gearing up for another entry in the franchise, with the aim of doing it right this time around.

Revealing in an interview via IGN, Vince Zampella, Head of Respawn Entertainment and Group GM for EA, stated how the developers look forward to taking back the franchise to its glory days.

Zampella brought up the days of Battlefield 3 and 4, reminiscing how the time was the 'peak or the pinnacle of Battlefield', and it is exactly what they are going for once again.

Ultimately, it is now confirmed that the next title in the popular First-Person Shooter series will go back to its roots and will be making definite use of nostalgia to attract more players, a strategy Call of Duty is no stranger to.

It was also confirmed that it will be sticking to 64 players per lobby approach that the last installment eventually had to go back to after experimenting with 128 player lobbies.
