Red Dead Redemption 2 is a big hit, online beta coming this month

Games discussed:

Take-Two is pretty proud of Red Dead Redemption 2 judging by its proud announcement that over 17M copies of the game have moved on PlayStation 4 and XBox One. In fact, RDR2 has outsold the first game in just over a week! That translates to about $725M in its first weekend alone.

Another fun fact that came out of the investor call is that "Red Dead Online", the online multiplayer component of the game, would be entering beta sometime in November. "Red Dead Online is an evolution of the classic multiplayer experience in the original Red Dead Redemption and that will blend narrative with competitive and cooperative gameplay," said Karl Slatoff.

Lastly, one sneaky investor queried executives about whether or not RDR2 will be coming to PC. It's not exactly the answer most want to hear, but it's not a "hard no" either:

Investor: Red Dead 1 was not on PC. Any updated thoughts on making Red Dead 2 available on PC down the road? Thanks.
Strauss Zelnick: Sorry, could you just repeat the third question?
Investor: Yeah, Strauss, just on making Red Dead 2 available on PC.
Strauss Zelnick: On making it available on PC?
Lainie Goldstein (also Take-Two): PC.
Strauss Zelnick: In terms of ongoing releases, Rockstar will talk about what their intentions are going forward with regard to all upcoming products and that the same would hold true for platform. So, in this particular instance, I can’t really give you too much clarity, apologies.
