World of Warcraft has officially re-enabled the Restore Character button after nearly two months. Though it was not seemingly mentioned in any hotfix or announcement, World of Warcraft players can officially use the Restore Character function once again.
The Warbands system is a blanket of quality-of-life features World of Warcraft implemented during The War Within Pre-Patch. Geared towards making as many things account-wide as possible, this huge update changed a great deal about the backend of how characters communicate information. Because of this, World of Warcraft temporarily disabled the Character Restoration service, giving no exact time for when it would return.
World of Warcraft adds a new Warbands quality of life feature in Patch 11.0.5 that makes managing multiple characters much easier than before.
Now, it seems like World of Warcraft has finally figured out how to restore this feature. As of now, the Character Restoration button can be used once again, letting fans restore a qualifying character once every seven days.
