Netflix and director Zack Snyder are all in on Rebel Moon as they've just announced a game based on the gritty sci-fi franchise. Ahead of the debut of Rebel Moon: Part 1 - A Child of Fire in 2023, Snyder made it explicitly clear that he was approaching the film as the start of a franchise, quietly confirming that he was aware of a video game adaptation. Months after Rebel Moon: Part 2 - The Scargiver, the game is finally stepping out of the shadows and inviting fans to give it a try.
In an official blog post, Netflix dropped a gameplay trailer for Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game, a standalone adventure that plays like a top-down co-op shooter filled with recognizable characters and plenty of action.
The streaming giant draws comparisons to Diablo 4 and Helldivers 2 but the actual nature of the game is largely unknown; whether or not it will focus on grinding for loot and experience remains to be seen, even though the presentation certainly suggests those systems will feature. Those who may be interested in playing it early can sign up for the mobile game's closed beta now.
