Popular VTuber Ironmouse's YouTube channel has seemingly been terminated, with the beloved content creator losing an outlet that boasted over 1 million subscribers. The onset of the VTuber phenomenon throughout the late 2010s and early 2020s has seen plenty of content creators and talent agencies explode in popularity. The Japanese market has seen the rise of massive agencies like Hololive and Nijisanji, while individual creators like Nyanners, Ironmouse, and Silvervale have risen to prominence as English creators. Now, one of the community's most beloved creators has seen a huge setback.
Ironmouse first got her start as a VTuber in 2017, following the initial boom in VTubers started by iconic creators like Kizuna Ai. Ironmouse was one of the founding members of English-speaking VTuber agency VShojo in 2020 and has won "VTuber of the Year" at The Streamer Awards for the past two years. While Ironmouse largely streams on Twitch as her main source of content, she has also hosted videos on both her main YouTube channel and a second channel devoted to uploading stream VODs. However, Ironmouse's YouTube presence has now been dealt a major blow.
