For better or worse, Days Gone has reentered the gaming conversation after its former co-director, John Garvin, criticized the game's protagonist, Deacon St. John's appearance in Astro Bot. That then prompted Sony's Bend Studio, who developed the first-party exclusive, to respond, along with other former people involved with the game.
But if you thought that was the end of things, then think again.
Because it appears that Days Gone is seemingly set for a PlayStation 5 remaster. Should that come to fruition, then the title will join the likes of The Last of Us and Uncharted, as well as potentially Horizon Zero Dawn in getting buffed up versions.
