Black Myth: Wukong may have taken the world by storm with its slick combat and impressive enemy designs but the game's latest update wants to fix one of the experience's biggest problems: Performance. When Black Myth was first released, many critics slammed the game's technical problems, insisting that while the game itself was strong the myriad bugs and glitches made a large part of the experience unplayable. Fortunately, Game Science has worked hard to address these complaints and the results speak for themselves as the latest patch addresses several major issues.
Per the game's official Steam page, the 1.0.9.15179 Patch makes some major changes to the Yaoguai Kings; The Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master has had its general combat experience "improved" while several encounters against the Kings have been fixed to ensure the Destined One can't be hit outside of the invisible wall surrounding the arena. Similarly, the update targeted issues that saw certain enemies become invincible if players accidentally triggered a specific situation. Some minor balance changes like the Spikeshaft Staff increasing Maximum Mana by 30 and the Insect Armor set improving healing should make the experience much smoother.
