When the game was released on August 19, 2024 for PC and PS5, Black Myth: Wukong became one of the year's biggest hits, receiving consistently high praise from critics and fans alike.
Although the action RPG was released halfway through August, Black Myth: Wukong has already sold 18 million units and quickly became the most downloaded game on the PlayStation Store across North America, Europe, and Japan. With Game Science keen to capitalize on the popularity of Black Myth: Wukong, the team has introduced several fixes to the game with its latest patch.
