When the game was released on August 19, 2024 for PC and PS5, Black Myth: Wukong became one of the year's biggest hits, receiving consistently high praise from critics and fans alike.
Although the action RPG was released halfway through August, Black Myth: Wukong has already sold 18 million units and quickly became the most downloaded game on the PlayStation Store across North America, Europe, and Japan.
