Dragon Age: The Veilguard is just like all the other games in the series in that it has a strong focus on relationships. We know that all of your companions are canonically pansexual, so none of them are left off the table when it comes to potential romances, and that they will romance each other if left alone, in an attempt to make them feel more like actual people rather than walking fleshbags for the main character to conquer.

Don't expect to be able to romance NPCs in The Veilguard though . Oddly enough, you'll be keeping your sordid relationships strictly within the workplace.

Unfortunately, that leaves the door open for a potential love triangle or two, as your reluctance to flirt with a certain party member may end up having them seek the arms of another. If that happens, there's not much you can do about it, but it has been hinted by BioWare itself that certain characters may visit you for advice in their romantic endeavors, and you don't have to give them good advice.
