The title comes from developer PHL Collective, which previously worked on releases like DC's Justice League: Cosmic Chaos, and publisher Outright Games, which specializes in making family-friendly titles. The sandbox adventure will allow players to explore beloved locations while completing missions for characters, and marks the first time the titular sponge's best friend has been the protagonist in a game.
