Some customers who purchased the exclusive PlayStation 5 Pro 30th Anniversary Edition are reportedly seeing their orders canceled with little explanation. The PlayStation 5 Pro has already been stirring up controversy in the gaming community due to its high price point, and these canceled orders are causing a few dedicated fans to declare their intent to give up on the console maker.

Set to launch on November 21, the limited-edition 30th Anniversary Collection, which includes PlayStation 5 Pro consoles and controllers with a special gray color scheme mimicking the original PlayStation, went up for pre-order on September 26. Only 12,300 console units were produced, and the PS5 Pro 30th Anniversary Edition consoles immediately sold out within seconds, with some scalpers asking as much as £10,000 (or nearly $13,400 USD) on auction sites like eBay.
