Bandai Namco and Dimps have released a new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 trailer for the Future Saga Expansion, with the next DLC chapter being focused on the Gods of Destruction from Dragon Ball Super. Eight years after Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's initial release, the game is still being supported to this day. Dimps and Bandai Namco have been periodically updating the game with free updates and paid DLC, adding new playable characters and transformations. One of the biggest content updates is a new storyline exclusive to the game, focused on the villainous Fu.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's four-part Future Saga Expansion focuses on Fu, a villain who has been traveling through time and experimenting with Dragon Ball's history to create numerous What If scenarios. These range from Tapion coming to Future Trunks' aid in the Goku Black Saga, to giving Vegeta the Super Saiyan God form earlier than when he achieves it in the series' timeline. Fu's time-traveling experiments continue in Chapter 2, where he is messing with the characters from Dragon Ball Super, specifically the Pride Troopers and Gods of Destruction.
