Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to hit consoles and PC at the end of October, and the game's director has revealed that the Taash romance is the "steamiest" in the game. Romanceable companions have been a hallmark of the Dragon Age series since its inception, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard certainly isn't breaking that trend.
While the fourth mainline installment in the series sports its smallest companion roster so far, every companion in Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to be a potential romance partner regardless of the player character's gender, setting it apart from all previous series titles. Aside from dwarven scout Lace Harding, who was a romance option in Dragon Age: Inquisition despite not being a playable companion in that game, every companion in The Veilguard is also a new addition to the Dragon Age roster, giving players plenty of opportunities to forge new relationships, romantic or otherwise.
