Nine titles are set to leave the Xbox Game Pass content library later today, September 30. These removals, which include one of the highest-rated games on the service, will nearly triple the number of September 2024 departures from Xbox Game Pass.
Not accounting for the rare exception, Microsoft's subscription service removes games from its catalog every two weeks, at the beginning and end of each month. The most recent such wave of departures happened on September 15, when Xbox Game Pass lost six titles, including Slime Rancher 2, Payday 3, and FIFA 23.

The September 30 Xbox Game Pass departures include The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season, which is one of the highest-rated titles currently available to Microsoft's subscribers.
