Sega has finally announced the release date for Sonic Mania Plus. You can expect to see it arrive on PS4, XB1, Switch and PC on July 18th. Sonic Mania Plus is an expanded version of last year's million plus-selling Sonic Mania. It will feature improved time trials and something called "encore mode" that alters every level's layout. If you already own Sonic Mania, worry not. You can purchase encore mode for $5.
The trailer is a ton of fun and definitely something fans will appreciate that showcases the art work of Tyson Hesse who, according to Polygon, is the "artist behind the original game's trailer". You'll see Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel too.
