Publisher 505 Games and developer KUNOS Simulazioni have announced that Assetto Corsa EVO's early access period begins on January 16, 2025, on PC through Steam. It will include cars from multiple eras, giving players possibly the ultimate enthusiast experience.
The racing simulator will have road cars, classics, hypercars, and race cars available in this highly realistic game. The press release says "each vehicle is reproduced through KUNOS’ advanced system that simulates mechanical, electronic, and aerodynamic performance."
505 Games Makes Some Bold Claims
The publisher 505 Games makes some bold claims about Assetto Corsa EVO, saying it will be "unlike any racing sim seen on any generation" as it features a full 24-hour race cycle, "cutting-edge lighting," dynamic weather/track conditions, and photorealistic visuals. It even has a mathematical model that "meticulously simulates asphalt performance" during specific weather conditions. It sounds very nerdy. For those disappointed in the latest Gran Turismo game, this might be a title for you when it launches in January.
