Street Fighter 6 has received a new update that adds Darkstalkers-themed content to the game. Capcom recently collaborated with SNK, bringing the beloved Terry Bogard to Street Fighter 6. Now, players are getting ready to enjoy the month of Halloween in style.
While Street Fighter is one of Capcom's most popular franchises, it's no different with Darkstalkers. The series debuted in the mid-1990s and became a hit by presenting a fighting game whose cast is made up of werewolves and vampires. This roster produced some characters that would eventually become audience favorites, such as Felicia and Morrigan, both fighters becoming recurring names in the Marvel Vs. Capcom games. With five games, ports, and adaptations for other media, Darkstalkers remains a franchise that fans hold dear.
Eagle-eyed Street Fighter 6 players find neat SNK Easter eggs, and discover that they reference several of the company's games.
Now, Darkstalkers is making a comeback as part of the new crossover with Street Fighter 6. Available until October 22, players can purchase the Darkstalkers Fighting Gala Pass for 250 Fighting Coins ($5 USD) in the in-game store, and unlock 30 levels of rewards by accumulating Kudos by completing weekly challenges....
