More new games were announced for the PC and Xbox Game Pass, and the lineup includes one excellent horror game fans might be happy to see. This particular title is just one of many new arrivals heading for the Game Pass in October 2024.

The psychological horror game Inscryption will be joining the Game Pass, according to Xbox Wire. Inscryption was published by Devolver Digital and developed by Daniel Mullins. Fans of the indie horror scene may recognize that name as the creator of the equally unsettling and genre-bending Pony Island and The Hex.

The game was named Screen Rant's Game of the Year in 2021 for its atmospheric, unsettling presentation. At its most basic, Inscryption is a card game mixed with an escape room. However, from the talking cards to the murderous shadowy opponent, it's clear that there's more to this game than what meets the eye.

Other titles announced for the Xbox Game Pass include esports game MLB The Show 24, a mystery adventure game from Annapurna titled Open Roads, and brawlers Sifu and Mad Streets.
