Bungie revealed new content that will be available in Act 1 of Destiny 2 Episode: Revenant, which launches on Tuesday, October 8. The upcoming episode will take place right after the final Act of Episode: Echoes, as Destiny 2 players prepare to battle the forces of Fikrul, the leader of the undead Eliksni army.
As Bungie previously announced, each Act's entire story will be available on day one in Episode: Revenant. This means that players will not need to wait for weekly story beats during each of the three Revenant Acts. According to Bungie, this change was decided after receiving an extensive amount of player feedback regarding the pacing of Destiny 2 Episode: Echoes' story, which followed a similar story structure that players became accustomed to with the previous seasonal model.
