Having introduced quite a few balance adjustments in their previous patch for Elden Ring, and in particular the game’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Bandai Namco together with FromSoftware now bring us a shiny new patch for the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Unlike its predecessor, the latest Patch 1.15 focuses exclusively on squashing the game’s bugs and improving its performance.

Some of the more notable fixes make it so you no longer have to re-watch the cutscene upon entering the DLC’s Shadow Keep Church District area, deal with a number of issues with the Golem Fist weapon, and improve the flow of the boss fight against Rellana, Twin Moon Knight.

If you’re a PC player, the patch also notes some persistent issues you should keep in mind while playing the DLC. First of all, you should make sure the game didn’t accidentally enable Ray Tracing for you. Furthermore, if you get a message saying “Inappropriate activity detected,” and you know you’ve not been cheating, fret not – verifying the game’s file integrity should sort this issue out. And if you’re experiencing unexpected frame drops, you should make sure you’re not running any third-party applications that control your mouse...
