Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is currently the top-selling game on Steam and the PlayStation Store, beating out released games like Throne and Liberty and upcoming ones like Call of Duty Black Ops 6.
As one of the biggest manga and anime franchises of all time, it's not particularly surprising when a new Dragon Ball game sells well. Previous releases like Xenoverse, FighterZ, and Kakarot have all seen great sales success, so it seemed very likely that the same was going to be true of Sparking Zero, which launches next week on October 11.
I didn’t think Sparking Zero could get more exciting, but the addition of GT and Movie characters has done it.
That being said, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero isn't quite like the games I listed above. While most of them are completely new games, Sparking Zero is the long-awaited fourth entry in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, which last had a mainline release all the way back in 2007. With that legacy in mind, it's no wonder that it's already ploughing through the sales charts.
