Spooky season is upon us and Fortnite players just got a sneak peek at this year's Halloween collaboration. Every year, the multiplayer battle royale releases a Halloween-themed collaboration featuring spooky outfits and characters in its Fortnitemare event. The Halloween collab embraces nostalgia this year, resurrecting characters from classic horror titles.
An image of the upcoming collab, teased by Shiina on X, shows that Leatherface and Billy the Puppet from Saw will be coming to Fortnite this season. The image also shows a pumpkin-themed reskin of the Ultima Knight holding what looks like the Wood Stake Shotgun from last year's Fortnitemares.
More characters show up in the background wearing spooky costumes, including Lexa in a witch's outfit riding a broomstick. Other skins and outfits can also be seen peeking through, including a dark Marshmello outfit and a new Knightmare skin.
At first glance, it may seem that Fortnite is trying to appeal to an older generation with this classic set of outfits.
