The first reviews for Metaphor: ReFantazio and the Silent Hill 2 remake are out, courtesy of Famitsu, and they are great. Metaphor: ReFantazio got particularly close to landing a perfect score from the Japanese magazine, suggesting that the October 2024 game will be a true treat for JRPG fans.
As is customary for the beginning of quarter four, October 2024 is absolutely stacked with high-profile video game releases. Some of the most highly anticipated titles from this upcoming group are the Silent Hill 2 remake and Metaphor: ReFantazio, which are scheduled to debut on the 8th and 11th of the month, respectively.

And while the international review embargoes for these games have yet to be lifted, the latest weekly issue of Famitsu does include reviews of them both.
